All PGA Members & Associates and LPGA professionals in good standing are eligible to become PGA HOPE Instructors.
Sign up now to attend one of the FREE seminars below. Attendance is required once to be a PGA HOPE Instructor, however the seminar may be repeated.
Entry includes continental breakfast, classroom seminar, lunch and hands-on demonstrations. Class A Member will earn 6 required credits.

PGA HOPE Northern California is an introductory golf instruction program, free to military veterans and active duty.  PGA HOPE is recognized by the US Department of Veteran Affairs as a therapeutic recreational activity to help improve veterans’ physical, mental, emotional and social well-being.

 

  • Become part of the Instruction team – here are facilities hosting PGA HOPE programs in 2024:
    Bayonet Black Horse GC, Bennett Valley GC, Bidwell Park GC, Boundary Oak GC, Buchanan Fields GC, Cordova GC, Cypress Lakes GC, Diablo Creek GC, Empire Ranch GC, Gold Hills GC, Lincoln Hills GC, Mariners Point GC, Metropolitan GC, Moffett Field GC, Mount Shasta GC, Presidio GC, Ridge Creek GC, Riverside GC, Santa Teresa GC, Seascape GC, Sierra Sage GC, Silverado Resort GC, Swenson Park GC
  • NOTE: Programs are two hours, once a week for seven consecutive weeks. Instructor honorarium is $100 per hour x 2 = $200 per class. Class A Members earn 6 pdr credits for program instruction. Instruction all seven weeks is preferred but not required. Teach as often as you can.
