In 2025, the NCPGA Senior Board created a "Rick Jetter Award" to honor individuals
who have served our tournament players. Rick has had a passion throughout his
career for events, competition, and camaraderie. We are aware that often this hard work
is done without recognition. Thus...the Rick Jetter Award will go forward to honor the
outstanding work Rick has done in his career and provide a vehicle to honor other PGA
Members that have shown, and will show, their commitment to events, competition, and
camaraderie.
This NCPGA Senior Division Award will be presented to an NCPGA Golf Professional
for significant contributions to the Tournament Program. The award seeks to identify
and acknowledge those individuals who have shown consistent dedication to the
advancement of our tournament programs.
In 2025, the NCPGA Legends Division created a “Bob Olds Award” in recognition of an
individual with extreme competitive desire and a true demonstration of outstanding
Sportsmanship ...the Bob Olds award is presented to an individual respected and
admired by all fellow competitors.
In 2014, the NCPGA Senior Board created the “Ken Towns Award”. This prestigious
award aims to recognize NCPGA senior players who have consistently demonstrated
outstanding professional playing performance or had exceptional years. There is no
requirement that we consider a Member who has excelled in both the Regular and
Senior Division. Additionally, recipients of the award must command the admiration and
respect of their peers throughout their professional careers.
