Nor Cal Juniors Shine at the 2025 NCPGA Pro / Junior at Bayonet
Some of Northern California’s brightest junior golf talents took center stage at the picturesque and challenging Bayonet Golf Course displaying their skill, composure, and competitive spirit at the recent 2025 NCPGA Pro / Junior. This was the first Pro / Junior since 2009 and we want to thank all 52 players for making it a success!
From the opening tee shots to the final putts, juniors from across the region impressed with strong performances against a championship-caliber layout known for its narrow fairways and penal bunkering. The tournament format was an NCPGA Professional teamed up with a Junior golfer from Northern California in a two-person Shamble based on age divisions.
In the Boys 13 & Under Division, PGA Professional Jeff Allen (Lake Merced GC) and junior Inho Park took medalist honors with a score of 64. The Boys 14-15 Division saw Tony Marshal (Sonoma GC) and son Henry Marshal card a six-under-par 66 to claim the title. In the Boys 16-17 Division, PGA Professional Chris Hatzke (Richmond CC) and Junior Eli Slifer blazed the field with a ten-under par 62.
The Girls 14-15 Division saw PGA Professional Jean Toit (Teal Bend GC) and junior Samaya Khunger claim the title with an even par 72. In the Girls 16-17 Division, PGA Professional Jody Dartez (Pruneridge GC) and junior Lexi Lowe captured the crown with an eight-under-par 64.
