Watanabe & de Borba Cruise to a three shot victory at the 2023 Yamaha Pro Scotch Championship at Diablo CC
Congratulations to PGA Professionals Steve Watanabe from the Bridges GC and Scott de Borba from Valley Hi CC. Steve and Scott won their third consecutive Pro Scotch Championship at the prestigious Diablo CC, scoring an impressive 8 under par 63. Finishing tied for second with a score of 5 under par 66, were PGA professionals Rodney Wilson, Sunnyvale GC & Hae Lee, Sunken Gardens GC & Joe Dolby, Santa Clara University & partner Lance Johnson, Swenson Park GC.
We brought back our traditional Horse Race Event and congrats to PGA team members Jabir Bilal, Swenson Park GC & partner Raymond Devon, Silverado Resort & Spa, winning the 3-hole Horse Race, defeating in a chip off PGA members Matt Ditto, Silverado Resort & Spa & partner Brian Glosser, Alta Sierra CC, Johnny O’Leary, Lake Merced Golf Club & partner Kevin Wentworth, San Francisco Golf Club.
