Larkin Captures 2026 NCPGA Section Championship
Congratulations to Andrew Larkin, PGA from Santa Clara University for capturing the 2026 Northern California PGA Section Championship!
Battling a stellar field over two days at the stunning The Quail Golf Club on July 27 & 28, Larkin delivered a clutch performance, finishing the 36-hole championship at 4-under-par. But the drama didn’t end there—tied at the top after 36 holes, Larkin went head-to-head with Michael Nicoletti, PGA of Granite Bay Golf Club in a sudden-death playoff. Larkin held his nerve under pressure, winning on the second playoff hole to capture the championship.
Along with the Section title, this championship serves as the pathway to the national stage. A massive congratulations to our 6 PGA Professionals who earned their qualifying spots to represent the NCPGA at the 2027 PGA Professional Championship at Streamsong Resort April 25 – 28, 2027:
