🏆 Back-to-Back Champion!

Congratulations to Tom Johnson, PGA, Director of Instruction at The Meadow Club, on defending his title at the 2025 NCPGA Tournament of Champions!

Tom carded rounds of 70–66 (136) to finish 8-under-par, securing a 3-shot victory over PGA Professionals... Joshua Kelley (Sunday Swing Golf) and David Solomon (Diablo Country Club).

Competing over 36 holes at the beautifully renovated Diablo Country Club (6,694 yards), Tom’s incredible performance featured 25 pars, 10 birdies, and just two bogeys, a true display of consistency and precision.

October 23rd marked the Inaugural Partner Appreciation Day at Del Paso Country Club in Sacramento, CA! 🎉

This new annual event was created to thank our incredible partners and vendors for their continued support of the NCPGA Section & Foundation throughout the year. Attendees ...enjoyed a short-game clinic with our 2025 Section Champion, Tom Johnson, before teeing it up in the Shamble Best Ball Tournament.

Northern California PGA Play Yellow Birdie Bash On Pace to Raise over $35k!

On October 27, the inaugural 2025 Play Yellow Birdie Bash... at El Macero Country Club in Davis, CA, was a tremendous success! Thirteen two-person teams competed over 36 holes, combining for an incredible 270 birdies and helping raise more than $35,000 to support PGA HOPE Northern California and UC Davis Children’s Hospital.

Fifteen PGA of America Golf Professionals and one PGA HOPE (Helping Our Patriots Everywhere) Ambassador will represent the PGA of America REACH Foundation in the 2025 TCS New York City Marathon on Sunday, November 2. This marathon features more than 55,000 runners, including 10 returning in support... of PGA REACH.

This year, the Northern California PGA’s very own, Brian Seal, PGA from Montreux Golf & CC, will be participating in this amazing event! We will be cheering you on from Nor Cal Brian!

On September 21, 2025 - 111 junior golfers from 9 states (and Canada!) teed it up at the Drive, Chip & Putt Regional Qualifier with hopes of earning a spot at Augusta National. 🏆 From clutch putts to powerful drives, 8 champions emerged and are Augusta-bound this spring.
